It called for rain alllllllll day long but we didn’t see one single drop during their first look, bridal party portraits, or ceremony 🙌🏻 Talk about a win of a couple and day! Here are just a few of my favorite snaps ✨
Lately, I’ve started to realize that while I was loving capturing everyone else’s memories, I passing on capturing some of my own. Missing capturing life at a year and a half into marriage with my best friend, with our two giant fur babies who get way too much of our attention. Because that’s where we’re at right now, we’re in a really sweet season and I want to one day be able to look back at these moments right here. I fell in love with photography, because it’s a tangible way to remember the seasons of our lives and all that’s happening. Even if that means having to hold your 50lb. dogs for photos because they’re still very much puppies and highly distracted in open fields 😂 I’m grateful for these moments and hope and plan to start to sharing more of them in the midst of the pretty weddings and couples sessions 🤗
She climbed around a waterfall, bare feet, misty skin and all for her bridals. I call this a rockstar bride 💫 (she’s also a super talented jewelry designer and made every piece of jewelry you’re seeing!)
If you’ve followed along with me, you know that’s there’s this girl named Riley who’s been beside me shooting on countless wedding days, sorted through images and emails for me, and kept me from leaving gear on the side of the mountain one too many times. She started out just helping me with my business but all thanks to Jesus she quickly turned into one of my closest friends. Last night I got to photograph her and her soon to be husband and I’m all sorts of 😭 if you know Riley and Carson you know why, and if you don’t I encourage you to get to know them. They’re two of the best people I know 💫So until I can get my words together and process last night with them, I’ll be over here weeping trying to edit the rest of these images 😭i
